Stress & Health project

Stress & Health project

At the Green Office, we noticed that more and more students were experiencing problems managing the workload at WUR. The consequence was that students are coping with more physical problems such as RSI, and mental health problems such as burn-out and depression. Problems like this are often not addressed and easily overlooked, leading to an increase in stress-related problems at the university. We would like to see more structural changes regarding stress-related problems at the WUR. Therefore, we decided to start the dialogue with parties involved in policy and decision making.

The aim of this project is to structurally impact stress at the university by advocating for long-lasting changes and solutions to try to diminish the various obstacles surrounding stress and stress-related problems in a healthy way for students, PhDers, and employees at WUR.
