Community & Network

The Community & Network coordinator focuses on creating and maintaining a lively sustainability community in and around WUR. In order to facilitate collaboration between sustainability-minded people and organizations, the green office Wageningen (GOW) is in contact with multiple networks on a local, national, and international level. The community and network coordinator has the responsibility of being the GOW representative during external meetings, is familiar with the networks, and aims to connect people to achieve a larger impact.

The GOW aims to involve as many WUR students and staff in our sustainability-oriented projects as possible. The community and network coordinator is responsible for acquiring student volunteers for all GOW projects, and is part of the Green Impact program coordination team at WUR, which stimulates sustainable initiatives by teams of students and staff.
