Hello student cooks!
Due to the coronavirus and the quiet WUR campus, the Student Cooking Corner is closed until further notice. We do not accept new bookings at the moment.
The Student Cooking Corner is just the right place for you to share your sustainable cooking skills from all over the world. Every Wednesday during lunch, students have the chance to sell homemade food. We provide one table the first floor of Forum and either a heating pot or chafing dish to serve your food. All money from sales is yours!
This is a great opportunity to showcase traditional dishes, inspire others with delicious vegan and vegetarian meals, and make use of all the farm-fresh food that Wageningen has to offer. Please keep it to one dish and 30-40 servings per cooking corner session, as we have limited space for heating and serving your dish. You can make whatever you want, we only ask you to make it vegetarian.
If you would like to participate in the Student Cooking Corner with your homemade dish, select a free Wednesday in the calendar and make your reservation. If you have any questions, you can send an email to the Green Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To allow many cooks to participate, we ask you to sign up for no more than 1 week at a time. However, you can sign up for multiple dates in different months. Please bring your own serving utensils, plates, and cutlery and don’t forget to stimulate your customers to bring reusables!
